10-9-18

Scary story today.  Yesterday, flooding wiped out an RV park in western Texas where we have stayed twice and hoped to stay again on our way home from this trip.  The South Llano river unexpectedly sent a wall of water through Junction, TX wiping away the campground and all the RVs and tents in it, including the RV office.  Four men are missing.  Rescue operations are still underway.  Really makes you think!

These are some beautiful views on I-40 between Yermo, CA and Kingman, AZ where we are overnighting.  On our way we saw a gully named Holy Moses Wash and also pondered a serious question.  As we passed over the Hecto Road Undercrossing we wondered who made the decision to name it an Undercrossing instead of an Overpass?  Now you can wonder, too.

This is the largest golf ball we've ever seen.  Welcome to Arizona.
