This is a view of the truck stop below Lee Hi RV Park in  Lexington, VA.  We woke up here this morning with the mountains covered in fog.  The park itself was small but had everything we needed.  We shared it with deer, rabbits and killdeer, who were running all around the road.

We had breakfast at the truck stop, where we had dinner last night.
It had three rooms, one of which was lined with old school tin trucks and other toys.  Very cute.

This was a lengthy driving day through mountains from Lexington, VA to Milton, WV.  Here is our fourth gold-domed capitol building, this one in Charleston.
We stopped in a large parking lot so that I could run into a "fast" food place to get some burgers and drinks.  It took so long that Gary texted me to see if I was OK.  The burgers were gross, as well.  Scratch Hardees from our future dining pleasure.  Later, when we were almost at the campground we stopped at a gas station called Sheetz to fill up and get some drinks.  That also took forever because I had to order using a computer and finding the drinks we wanted to order was not intuitive, to say the least.

We discovered, but did not visit, a chain of restaurants we had never heard of before called Biscuit World and another restaurant called Fat Patty's.  Poor Patty.  That just isn't a nice name.

Now we are spending the night at Fox Fire KOA in Milton. It is full except for a couple of spaces, but fine.  We are not unhitching the car tonight so we can get an early start tomorrow.  I made dinner from some leftovers and baked beans, which I nuked.

Two people who make us very happy are Evan, who will be seven in August and is shown here in the bathtub in North Viet Nam, where he is vacationing, and Macy, who is already seven and is enjoying a Mariner's game in Seattle.  Please excuse the small Grandma digression.  :)
