One last art piece from yesterday's trip to The Pearl.

Today we visited Southtown.  We weren't expecting it but we accidentally parked in front of a store called Sexology.
Even more interesting was the sign on their back door.  In case you can't read it, it says Ask About Our Private Event Center.  One can only imagine.
Southtown had a few gems but was mostly free of tourists.

We ate lunch at The Mad Hatter.  The crazy shelf on the back wall was typical of the place.
Isn't this the best idea you ever saw for a place to wait for admission to a restaurant?  The tables are for drinks.

A couple of street art pieces we saw in Southtown.

We stumbled upon the historic King William district in Southtown.  It was full of great, old homes, some of them decorated for the holidays.

We saw some puzzling signs near schools prohibiting cell phone use and advertising a $200 fine.  After some research I found that Texas does not have any laws banning cell phone use while driving, so San Antonio and a few other districts have banned it in school zones to avoid accidents.
