Big Al was on the side of the road between the Louisiana border and Houston.  We also saw gasoline priced at $1.79 near the Texas border.  Both amazing.

Texas is about 875 miles across on I-10.  It will take quite a few days to accomplish, especially since we're taking it slow to see the sights.

We saw one of these outside of Houston.  The ads say it is a vending machine for buying cars.  They also say that you can't shake it and get one free!  I'm not exactly sure how it works but it is a sight to see.

We are at the beautiful Katy Lake RV Park, which is northwest of Houston.  We had a restful catch-up day today and will move on to San Antonio tomorrow.
