Actually, we had a very lucky day.  Yesterday we knew we had a leak having to do with connecting to the city water.  Today our pre-planned route coincidentally took us past an Airstream repair facility in Caldwell, ID which is owned by the same people who own the one in Portland where we bought our trailer.  We were able to make an appointment and they had us in and out in two hours.  The leak is fixed!  We didn't have to turn around and go home. How great is that?  (Baby was a big hit in the waiting room.)

We had breakfast this morning in the Wildhorse Casino in Pendleton and left by 9 so we could get to our repair appointment on time.  On our way we had lots of sunshine and a little rain on a fairly mountainous route into Idaho and also changed time zones.

We are staying tonight in Mountain Home RV Resort, a beautiful RV park with level, concrete pads and all the amenities.  It is maintained and has a salt water pool which we will not try out because it is just too cold.  We had dinner at AJ's Restaurant, one of only three non-fast food choices here.  There is no Starbuck's here, either.  That tells you how small it is.  Tomorrow we will head to Brigham City, UT.

  1. I am trying to be clever and think of something to connect Baby at the fire hydrant and a leak in the connection thing you mention, but alas, I am brain dead from paint fumes. :-p
