Here we are in Kennewick, WA.  Kennewick is one of three cities known as the Tri-Cities famous for beautiful weather, golfing, wheat and wineries.

On our way here from Lake Oswego two amusing things happened.  The first was an Aquatic Check Station at the Washington border.  All boats were supposed to pull in there and get checked for invasive species.  The sign out front said, "If it floats, it is a boat."  This must have been for those unclear about the concept.  About three minutes down the road we saw a truck towing a boat which had been pulled over by the police. Too funny!

When leaving the highway in Kennewick, we spotted another good sign at an auto repair shop.  It said, " Brake Check.  Stop Here If You Can".

We are staying at Country Sun RV Resort, which is beautifully kept, flat and quiet.  It has a little country store, a medium sized pool, laundry and bathing facilities as well as good places to walk Baby and Jazzy.

Today we went exploring.  We found many pieces of street art, which we always enjoy.

We found this one at the Sports Complex.  There is an antique carousel here but it has very short hours and we didn't get in.  There was a splash pad full of little kids, several sports fields and an indoor venue.

Someone used old bicycles to create a fence/border on their property.

More tomorrow.
